Nielsen | A Social Media "How To" for Retailers

What are today's teenagers going to tell us about social media in the next 5-10 years? They appear to be more mobile, preferring text messaging (overshelmingly) to Twitter but still spend a lot of time in front of the TV.
I believe our children, or in my case, young adults, will be able to not only tell us what social media does, they will be living it everyday. When I was a teen, it was considered cool if you had your own phone line, then cool if you had your own cellular phone, and now cool if you have the latest technology available on your "smartphone."
ReplyDeleteI have been very adaptable through the years and have welcomed many advancements in technology capabilities readily. However, our children seem to be so adept at their technology advancement adoption rate, it appears technology cannot advance quickly enough for them.
My number one concern for the future is "will they be able to relate and communicate to another person, well enough to advance their place in life, and in their jobs?"
